RECYCLING ON DISPLAY AT EPCOT

A display at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center, Orlando, Fla., features information on paper recycling. The “Forests For Our Future” display, organized by the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), opened in October of 1999 and will run throughout 2000 as part of the Innovations at Epcot exhibit.

Among the information entertainingly displayed at the “Forests For Our Future” exhibit are paper recycling technology and facts. “In the U.S. today, recycled paper makes up about one-third of the raw fiber used by paper companies,” TAPPI notes. “Soon, recovered paper is expected to become the paper industry’s number one raw material.”
