The ARMA International Conference and Expo is the premier education event for information management professionals. This year more than 4,000 information management professionals from around the world will come together for education and networking and to discover products at ARMA International’s Conference and Expo.
The Conference
The 2009 ARMA International Annual Conference and Expo is Oct. 15-18 in Orlando, Fla., at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The conference features more than 100 education programs presented by experts in the legal, IT and records and information professions, including:
• Industry-focused discussion sessions;
• Forrester Research session on trends and challenges for information management professionals;
• The Sedona Conference session: ROI for Information Asset Management Technology in the Spotlight discussion;
• A deep dive into the new Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles; and
• A closing address by Randolph Kahn, Esq.
The Expo
The expo floor will be filled with more than 150 industry leaders providing innovation and solutions for information management in all industries for organizations of all sizes. The expo also will feature free education including the popular Industry Intelligence sessions and classroom-setting discussions called Exclusively IT.

Pre-Conference
Oct. 13-14, ARMA International will present four pre-conference sessions to give attendees an opportunity to explore a single issue in more detail. The sessions are available at an additional charge, with discounts available when Tuesday and Wednesday pre-conferences are purchased together. Of special note this year are pre-conference sessions on actively transforming electronically stored information (ESI) and records and information management fundamentals.
