CEDARAPIDS ROLLERCONE SUPER BEARING

An advanced roller bearing design that can handle heavier operating loads is now offered on Rollercone crushers from Cedarapids Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a Terex company.

• The Rollercone MVP Super Bearing increasing bearing capacity by up to 22 percent and bearing life by up to 95 percent.

• New bearing is factory-tested to withstand tramp iron stresses and to maximize service life.

• Anti-friction roller bearing design uses less horsepower and puts more power into the crushing chamber, providing more power at lower operating costs.

The new SM 818 trommel from DoppstadtUS, Haslett, Mich., offers users beneficial performance and productivity for demanding material separation needs.

• Capable of creating three products at once.

• Fully road portable, with complete set-up in 10 to 15 minutes.

• Hydraulic belt feed allows the trommel to sense the load and automatically adjusts to ensure proper and effective screening of material.

• Infinite variable speed control on the drum allows the operator to adjust the trommel in real time, maximizing yields to match the specific needs of the user’s current application.

• Engineered with separate pumps, eliminating crossover lag on non-adjusted functions.

• Optional hydraulically-operated stone grid or vibration screen can provide useful primary coarse separation and further break up source material prior to entering the drum.

Volvo Construction Equipment, Asheville, N.C., has introduced the Volvo A25D 4x4 as a new articulated hauler.

• Model provides a compact, small-truck package built with the engineering and design features of the larger Volvo articulated haulers.

• Has the ability to work in confined areas such as tunnels and underground mines and on congested, urban job sites.

• Wheelbase is 15.75 inches shorter than its predecessor, the Volvo A25C 4x4, with the option of adding a turn-around system.

• Hydraulically-operated features allow the hauler to turn through 180-degrees in less than 32 feet of space, with the entire operation taking just 25 seconds to complete.

• Payload capacity of 26.5 tons and a top speed of 32.9 mph.

MORBARK MULTIBAGGER

The MultiBagger from Morbark Inc., Winn, Mich., is billed by the company as a "simple, versatile and affordable way to bag landscape materials."

• Designed to quickly and affordably bag a variety of products, including landscape mulch, compost, soil products, gravel, sand and more.

• Can host three operators working simultaneously, who combined can bag in excess of 1,000 bags per hour.

• Features a 2-cubic yard feed hopper with three filling stations that release material when a foot control is activated.

• Hydraulically-driven auger and agitator help ensure against bridging and plugging of material.

• Unit can be quickly modified to handle a variety of bag
sizes.

• Can come with conveyors, bag sealer and a trail for trans-
porting the MultiBagger.

The HD140Ds Hydraulic Hammer is billed by the Peoria, Ill., company as "the first of a new generation of work tools for the construction, demolition, mining and aggregates industries."

• Ideally matched with the Cat 325C and 330C hydraulic excavators and similarly-sized competitive models.

• Hammer measures 103.9 inches from top plate to the tip of the tool with an impact energy rating of 3,155 ft.-lb.

• Operating weight is 5,100 pounds.

• Impact frequency is 350 to 600 blows per minute—25 percent to 30 percent higher than the previous design.

The T-Rex is the newest shredder from Terex-Simplicity, Durand, Mich.

• Offers a maximum 210,000 ft-lb of torque at operating speeds from 1 to 50 RPM.

• Portable shredder can handle mixed C&D debris, carpet, mattresses, furniture and tires.

• Post-shred product sized to 6-inches minus.

• T-Rex is "engineered for extreme, heavy-duty operations," according to Terex-Simplicity.
