Shandong Chenming
Paper Holdings Ltd., a Chinese company, placed an order with Voith Paper for a
coating machine and two off-line calendars for its mill in Shouguang, China.
The mill produces 450,000 tons of paper and paperboard a year.
To meet growing
demand the company is building a new line at the mill. The new line will
produce woodfree coated papers.
According to Voith,
Jiangxi Paper, another Chinese paper company, placed an order for a complete
newsprint machine. The machine will allow the paper company to produce an additional
540 tons per day of newsprint.
