The
city of Greer, S.C., voted to locate 100 bins from Visy Recycling throughout
the city. According to a news report the arrangement is hoped to generate
between $1,000-$5,000 a month for the city.
The
acceptance of the proposal means that Green will be the first city in South
Carolina to integrate Visy Recycling’s mixed paper recycling program with its
curbside collection program.
Bins
also are expected to be located at commercial sites.
