TAPPI awarded a development contract to
Applied Graphics Technologies, Inc., the country's largest provider of
outsourced digital media asset management services.
With this award, TAPPI initiates its effort
to provide online services to the pulp and paper community. AGT will provide
technical and design services through their subsidiary companies Black Dot
Group and Seven Interactive.
TAPPI's web initiative will combine portal
concepts, industry and association partnerships, and advanced Web applications
to further enhance its position as the most complete information resource for
the pulp and paper industry. The new Web site is projected to launch in early
2001.
