Smurfit-Stone Container announced that William Wandmacher was chosen by the Pulp & Paper Safety Association to receive the Executive Eagle Award for 2000.
The award is presented each year
to an executive who demonstrates a commitment to safety within the pulp and paper
industry, and has made significant contributions to the improvement of safety and
health programs within his or her company.
