<B>SJF Looking for Philadelphia Director</B>

The Sustainable Jobs Fund is seeking a business investment and financing professional as Managing Director in SJF’s Philadelphia office.

SJF is a community development venture capital fund that invests in environmental and manufacturing companies that create jobs for low-income

citizens in the Eastern U. S. SJF is a $17 million fund that invests $100,000 to $1,000,000 equity or subordinated debt in growing companies that meet its community development and financial criteria.

The preferred qualifications for the new position include:

Small business financing experience in commercial lending or venture capital

Entrepreneurial and small business operating experience

Commitment to community development and sustainable business

MBA or equivalent educational degree or expertise

Responsibilities include fund marketing and outreach, generating deal flow, screening investment opportunities, providing business assistance to

prospect companies, negotiating business financing agreements, serving on

the SJF Investment Committee, working with co-investors, serving on company

boards, and providing ongoing support to portfolio companies.

The new Managing Director will work with the current Associate in the

Philadelphia office, SJF staff in the Durham, NC office and the SJF
