Rock-Tenn Co. reversed
course, posting quarterly income of $7.3 million, compared to a loss of $33.3 million
the same time last year.
Net sales for the
second fiscal quarter were $367.4 million, compared to net sales of $369.9
million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the six
months ended March 31, 2001 was $712.6 million, compared to $716.8 million in
the same period last year. Net income for the first six months of fiscal 2001
was $12.1 million, compared to a net loss of $24.6 million in the second
quarter of fiscal 2000.
