PaperExchange.com announced a partnership
with Schenker, a leading international integrated logistics services company,
to provide PaperExchange customers with instant access to European freight
services. The partnership further expands PaperExchange's offering by helping
members transport product between countries more dependably and seamlessly,
eliminating a primary concern of international buyers and sellers of pulp and
paper.
The partnership will provide PaperExchange
customers with the ability to obtain origin-to-destination logistic quotes,
allowing members to complete all parts of the transaction process online.
Schenker will offer PaperExchange customers a comprehensive forwarding and
logistics service at competitive rates. PaperExchange will also provide an
overview of all services offered by Schenker on its site, as well as the
ability to request and execute logistics quotes via a direct link to the
Schenker Web site.
