Kruger Inc. resumes production of its No. 2 newsprint machine at its Bromptonville, Quebec, mill after a 21-day stop for modernization. The modernization increases the quality, as well as the quantity of newsprint produced on the machine. The upgrade will add 18,000 metric tons of newsprint a year.
The mill produces a significant amount of recycled-content newsprint.
