The Kansas Business and Industry Recycling Program is launching a new web site. The address, www.kansasbirp.com, has been established in partnership with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The biggest feature of the new site is an online recycling directory for the state. The directory allows users to search for recycling programs in the state by city, county or material.
Along with the online directory, the new web site offers a searchable market directory for finding places to take materials following collection. There also is a searchable resource directory including more than 200 organizations with resource materials.
