Industrial Services of
America, Inc. reported financial results for the year ending December 31.
Fiscal 2000 sales totaled a
record $89.2 million, a 15 percent increase over the previous year's $77.5
million. Net income for 2000 was $505,847, 57 percent higher than 1999 earnings
of $321,335.
In the fourth quarter of
2000, total revenue increased 2 percent to $21.6 million. Earnings were
$49,987, compared with a loss of $23,462 during the 1999 fourth quarter.
``We're pleased with the
company's overall performance in fiscal 2000 despite a slowing economy and
depressed commodity prices in the fourth quarter,'' said Harry Kletter, ISA's
chairma. ``Going forward, we plan to continue our efforts to streamline
operations, improve efficiencies with technology and expand our sales and
marketing presence.''
