The Iowa Recycling Association appointed Dewayne Johnson executive director.
The IRA was organized in 1989 and has 450 members. It provides a forum to learn about recycling and waste reduction issues.
Johnson previously worked for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, the Iowa Environmental Council, and the Children and Families of Iowa.
