The state of Indiana’s Department of Commerce, Recycling Market Development Program announced that its deadline for pre-proposals to apply for grants and loans for the quarter is Jan. 26.
The program offers the following:
·zero interest loans of up to $1 million for companies purchasing equipment to make recycled-content products or prepare material for use as a feedstock.
·Grants of up to $100,000 for companies researching and testing ways to reduce waste, increase the use of recycled-content material or increase recycling.
·Grants of up to $30,000 to help companies market a recycled-content product.
·Grants of up to $5,000 to government entities to purchase recycled-content products as a trial or demonstration.
