Finnish paper workers and employers agreed on wage increases, ending a week-long strike that throttled 15 percent of global paper and board exports. No details on when the strike will end were immediately available. The paper workers were initially looking for a wage increase of 4.6 percent for the first year, as the employers, who wanted to postpone the negotiations regarding the second and third year, initially offered a 3.1 percent increase for the first year.
