Voith
Voith, with U.S. offices in York, Pennsylvania, has opened a new facility this fall in Houston. According to a news release from Voith, the 32,000-square-foot facility is focused on performing gearbox repair, retrofits and overhauls. The new facility’s workshop will service both Voith and non-Voith products, as well.
The company reports that it hosted an open house in mid-November to invite customers and vendors to learn more about the site’s gearbox workshop. During the event, the company showcased its Asset Performance Management integrated through augmented reality via a demonstration featuring the VoreconNX variable speed drive.
The Voith Group is a global technology company with a broad portfolio of systems, products, services and digital applications. The company also offers shredders, presses and conveyors for the recycling industry.
