Recycling and commodity trading technology provider cieTrade, Stamford, Connecticut, has unveiled a newly designed Web portal service, “ciePortal,” to provide online reporting services to the customers of the company’s recycling clients.
CiePortal provides recycling suppliers with on-demand access to information on the commodities being recovered in their recycling programs, including grades, tonnage, pricing, booking fulfillments and payment information, the company says.
David Haber, president of cieTrade Systems, says, “CiePortal can help increase the productivity of our clients by reducing email requests and phone calls for payment and shipping information while providing a valuable service that supports the demands of larger clients and provides a competitive advantage in the marketplace.”
He continues, “Our latest version introduces a clean modern responsive design that allows reports to be viewed on mobile devices. It also includes a new dashboard feature that provides a visualization of recovered material and an environmental impact statement (EIS) based on EPA- (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) approved guidelines that makes it easier for customers to measure the impact and performance of their recycling program.”
